We met at Skillpoint, a manufacturing program in Austin, Texas. Not only did we gain a life partner, we were both hired into the semiconductor industry - Mayra hopes to work in Space/Next-Gen Construction in time, while Ben is excited about the opportunity to deep dive into the photomask process at Tekscend.

Which time? We proposed a few times, with different levels of seriousness - the “for real” moment was after enjoying a nice dinner with Mayra’s parents, we returned home for a sunset walk. Ben asked Mayra for some tea before we left, and when she opened the gaiwan -Boom!- there was the ring. She turned to find Ben on one knee…

Yes! There will be fun prizes, games and great food. Guests will receive a small gift (i.e. wedding favor). In terms of giving a gift/item, we do not expect anything from you. Your time and love are already a generous gift we enjoy.
If you insist, however, we have a donation page on the top right of the website’s menu - currently, cash would be the greatest help for us.

We are going for an “all-white” wedding. Please wear formal attire that is primarily, or entirely, white. There will be Christmas decor and great photo opportunities both during the day and evening. Please message us with any questions!
