First Week of Work
Mayra and I have both begun new jobs this week, and are involved in the semiconductor supply-chain in different steps. Mayra will be building some of the machines that I use to build/inspect/repair photomasks, which are then used to manufacture the layers of chips (GPUs, CPUs, Flashdrives, etc). It is truly fascinating work thus far, and orientation has been great for both of us. The first “real” week will begin on Sunday the 23rd of August for myself and Monday the 24th for Mayra. We can’t share too much about the work we do publicly, out of respect for the companies we work for and the security requirements they have. As an example, US counterintelligence and defense will be reviewing and inspecting the company I work for regularly (in-person).
To make life amazing, we have both been putting extra effort into making meals/adjusting schedules, and more. Mayra has made some amazing breakfasts, smoothies, and soups - she is an uplifting force of positive energy, I love her so much. It is beyond clear to me how valuable our relationship is now, and will only become more so as time goes on. She is the greatest investment I will make, and I will be hers as well. We are both committed to loving and supporting each other, through good and bad times. It is fantastic to see/feel this in real time: we are so supportive & loving to each other… adjusting schedules successfully, solving (solved) how to best sleep together, ensuring communication remains great, and more. The sheer amount of effort Mayra and I are dedicating to one another is outstanding, yet also natural for us both. We are ensuring what we do is sustainable long-term, and to be honest - the future has never been as bright or beautiful as it now feels. We are both grateful to God for connecting and guiding us.
I probably have to get permission to share any photos… but she is so cute, positive and just out of this world amazing. If future kids are reading this, your mom is truly amazing, and I dearly hope you will find the same love (once you are old enough!). I think the path Mayra and I both walked before meeting each other was required to enable this outcome - and I also feel strongly that we were guided to meet one another. Sometimes things happen when we don’t expect; my honest advice for those seeking to find love is: work on yourself, focus on your hobbies, surround yourself with friends that care about you, explore what ignites your mind and soul. Life is electric, a high vibration of energy and light. Trust in God, and ask for guidance. Do your best and try to always improve. Ensure you take care of yourself and have boundaries. Eat well and be physically fit, work out daily. Ensure you sleep properly and maintain good hygiene - cut sugar if you don’t need it. Dive deep into what interests you, read a lot - consume as much high quality and interesting information as possible - always learn new things and keep an open mind, yet also have strong negotiation skills and go after what you want. Desire is not evil, but ensure the water raises all boats. Competition can be good, but cooperation with drive is better. For children, Mayra and I will always love you unconditionally - there is not a force on earth that will prevent either of us from being there for you, if at all physically possible. Your mom is truly special, and is full of light and love. She continues to make my life better and expand what I myself am capable of, like a new layer of a photomask (lol kinda). Kids are still 1-2 years away, but I hope to talk with Mark/Katie and my parents about best practices and how to ensure you have the highest quality of life and health possible. I myself have a lot to learn, but am actively pursuing the knowledge - both for our family at home and in the career/hobby sense. Speaking of which, I wonder if you will ever “need” to work? Perhaps not. A topic for later - for now, Vivi and Elsa are in town and I expect to meet them soon(ish).
More later,
-Ben
